G.Gorilla - Flower
This is the title track 'Flower' from G.Gorilla's second solo album, who was the musical core of the group 'Eve'. The grand intro using strings is quite impressive. Although the main vocalist Kim Se-heon formed Eve, there are quite a lot of fans who like G.Gorilla's vocals too. I thought the meaningful lyrics were about a breakup, but I just found out it's a song commemorating Leslie Cheung. "Come back to me. I have withered enough."

That poignant love for Leslie Cheung...♪ Knowing the story behind the song makes it resonate even more deeply. Thanks to Billy Joel, I'll be listening to this song again tonight...♡

Yeah, Gorillaz has that unique vibe, it's great! I have the second album too. The first one is gone though ㅠ0ㅠ Personally, I really loved the song 'tuesday' from the second album. I've listened to it and loved it for so long, but I just found out it's a tribute to Leslie Cheung! hahaha

There are messages conveyed by songs that hold meaning. If you were to receive a letter filled with someone's longing, the person themselves would probably be happy. I enjoyed listening.
