Meaningless Madman's Warning, The Existential Threat

The Existential Threat is a song released by Sparks in 2020, which literally translates to "existential threat." It truly lives up to its name, with a dramatic, faintly French-sounding instrumental in a theatrical tone, lyrics that suggest schizophrenia, and a music video by "cyriak," known for creating bizarre and original videos, all coming together to create a work of madness. The meaning of the song's title, Existential Threat, isn't just a simple threat; it refers to an "extreme danger that could make human survival completely impossible or irreversibly destroy human civilization." This means things like annihilation due to nuclear war or runaway AI, asteroid impacts, or massive volcanic eruptions. Honestly, these are problems we can't solve even if we ponder them, and they're not going to happen anytime soon. All we can do is live each day to the fullest and spend time with the people around us. I hope you have a great day today.
