Today's Webtoon Recommendation! Biraedo (Wuxia)

Biraedo is based on a Wuxia novel that the original author pretty much put on hiatus, but the novel itself already had a pretty thick fanbase! Even though it was once put on hiatus, the story is much more solid than the original, making it really enjoyable to read.. The adaptation writer is also very knowledgeable about Chinese characters, so there are many fun parts where they use Korean letters based on the pronunciation of Chinese characters ㅋㅋㅋ The art style is also quite delicate, unlike typical Wuxia webtoons! Usually, Wuxia webtoons tend to have a rough art style, but the artists for Biraedo draw female characters very well! Of course, they draw action scenes well too. The plot starts with the protagonist Biryuyeon being raised under a crazy child abuse offender(?) of a master, and while it is a typical 'monchikin' (overpowered protagonist) story, the subject matter itself is quite fresh and worth reading! Personally, I'm picky about art styles when it comes to Wuxia, so I don't often read Wuxia webtoons for long, but this webtoon is a work I've been enjoying for quite a while! Highly recommend it!
