I really hate mosquitoes.
Here's key information and how to deal with mosquitoes, the unwelcome guests of summer and fall. Mosquito Repellent and Prevention Block Indoor Entry: Seal tiny holes in screens or water holes at the bottom of window frames, install traps in drains, or cover them when not in use. Use Repellent: Spray repellents (DEET, Icaridin, etc.) certified by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety on exposed skin or clothing. Eliminate Habitats: Regularly empty environments where mosquitoes can easily lay eggs, such as plant saucers, artificial containers, and stagnant water. During Outdoor Activities: Wear light-colored long-sleeved shirts and long pants to minimize skin exposure. What to Do If Bitten Soothe Itching: Applying a cold compress or ice immediately after being bitten can quickly reduce swelling and itching. Protect the Wound: Scratching the bite can lead to secondary bacterial infections (like cellulitis), so protect it with an antihistamine ointment or a mosquito patch.
