Read this guide and achieving a 5-star island or paying off your loans won't be difficult! 1. 1 minute ~ 10 hours This is a truly daunting period. You'll be ridiculously short on cash, and the loans will make you wonder, 'What am I even doing right now?'. Focus on progressing the story and building your museum, Nook's Cranny, and clothing shop to develop your island. 2. 10 ~ 50 hours It's time to pay off your loans! If you've been trapped by the loans from that ruthless raccoon, it's time to break free. There are two main ways to pay off your loans. First, the standard way to make money. If you're thinking, 'Standard way? Aren't there only a few ways to make money?', you're dead wrong. For those who've only buried 1,000 Bells in glowing spots! The guaranteed 3x multiplier for 10,000 Bells, and the 99,999 Bells with about a 40% chance (not exact). Both are 3x multipliers, but burying 10,000 Bells is the way to make money without losing out.
