Wow, you've still raised them quite a bit. I only did the time quests and hidden quests and didn't progress further. It definitely feels like in these kinds of games, upgrading things like attack power and critical hit chance increases exponentially the further you go, so it takes too long to grow. Even if you upgrade them with difficulty, you get stuck again after clearing a few stages, and that's when the interest starts to drop.
