Kocchi no Kento - Hai Yorokonde

Today, for some reason, I'm recommending J-pop songs one after another. This is Hai Yorokonde by Kocchi no Kento, the younger brother of famous Japanese actor and singer Masaki Suda. He apparently suffered a lot of bullying because his brother is such a famous actor, and went through mental health issues. There's an official music video with an old anime style, but they also filmed one set in Korea, so I brought the Seoul music video. I heard he was invited by Dingo and did a live performance, and he sang incredibly well, much better to listen to than the recorded version. haha I wanted to bring the Dingo video, but the second song they sang consecutively had less impact than Hai Yorokonde, so I brought the Seoul music video instead. Girigiri dance, Girigiri dance ~ It's a song with a catchy chorus and cute choreography. There are various hidden meanings in the lyrics, but I think I might hit the character limit, so if you listen to the song and then look up the lyric interpretation on sites like Namu Wiki, you might hear it in a new way. It's exciting and upbeat, but with a backstory, you could say. haha I'll be back tomorrow with another great song!
