Are you watching 'Scandal'? I think the old one, 'Untold Scandal,' was more fun~

The 2003 film "Scandal - The Hidden Scent" has returned with a new story after 23 years. This time, Son Ye-jin, Ji Chang-wook, and Nana depict a dangerous entanglement of temptation and desire against the backdrop of Joseon Dynasty's aristocratic society. Based on the French novel "Les Liaisons dangereuses," it explores the characters in a different direction from the existing film. Notably, Mrs. Jo, played by Son Ye-jin, is portrayed not just as a villain but as a character striving to lead her own life despite the constraints of the era. Nana's character, Hee-yeon, also evolves beyond being a mere object of temptation, discovering her own emotions and desires, thereby changing the course of events. With an 8-episode run, the series allows for a more detailed exploration of the characters' relationships and psychological shifts. Comparing it with the 2003 movie seems like it would be quite entertaining.
