I wish they'd make more anime with this kind of vibe
I've been watching anime consistently my whole life, but it's a shame they don't really make this kind of mood anymore these days... Are there any others? These are Hellsing / Trigun / Cowboy Bebop / Evangelion / Death Note, in order. They're all incredibly famous anime, so I don't think I need to say more, but I always get immersed in the atmosphere and rewatch them whenever I feel the season for it. If you haven't seen them, it wouldn't be bad to give them a watch sometime. These are incredibly talented creators. +) Come to think of it, there are also manga from recent times that have a similar mood, like <Ajin> and <Dorohedoro>. <Samurai Champloo> also has a really cool vibe.

Oh, I know Death Note and Evangelion lololol. I haven't watched them, but I know the 'I'm Kira!' scene and A Cruel Angel's Thesis... they must be really famous anime....
