[Chat] Mahjong Soul Installation and Tutorial Review...
Alright.. I'm gonna give it a shot...! I bravely installed it and signed up.. Then, while watching the tutorial, my eyes started to dart around.. What... is all this..? What kind of world do Mahjong players live in..? The path of Mahjong is so long and distant for a newbie... Like those Mahjong games that were always included in Famicom multicarts back in the day... Back then, even the pirated multicarts had different names for them.. Remembering those days when I'd enter, go 'Ah, crap,' and reset... Now I'm installing that same game myself... reading the tutorial, and then going to sleep... Can I really understand and play Mahjong properly...? Isn't it a game meant for people who already know how to play..? Can I survive without losing my 'hands' (fingers/luck)? Starting Mahjong from step one.. I have a long way to go..

Mahjong is super easy ^^ For reference, I've been playing Mahjong for 18 years. Offline, there's a lot to do like sorting tiles, calculating scores, calculating yakus, timing calls (chi, pon, kan), and figuring out winning hands (which tiles can complete your hand when you're in Tenpai). But online, it does all the tile sorting, score calculation, and yaku calculation for you. It also tells you when to call chi, pon, or kan, and shows you exactly which tiles can complete your hand when you're in Tenpai, making it incredibly easy. Try playing offline Mahjong. Online is like a god compared to it.
