KakaoPage's <Dad Hides His Strength> This webtoon is based on the novel <Dad Hides His Strength>. The initial plot summary is about the female protagonist, Lilith, reincarnated into a world where war seems endless due to a warmongering emperor!! It would have been nice if her father was just an extremely ordinary extra named James Brown, but one day, knights appear before Lilith and her party, demanding Enok Rubinstein. They threaten to kill his daughter if he doesn't comply!! At this moment, James Brown attacks the knights, demanding they release his daughter, and it seems suspicious for a mere extra!? This can be summarized as follows. Honestly, when the novel first came out, I was wary because the title sounded childish, but the webtoon's art was so good that I ended up reading it 🤣 But I regret not reading it sooner because the plot is perfect with great foreshadowing and payoff. Also, the male lead and the fathers are incredibly perceptive, so I appreciate that we avoid most of the frustrating plot points, except for the ones caused by the villain using cheat-like abilities!! I have so much more I want to say, but why can I only write 500 characters?😭

AuthorThe villain is quite competent, so you'll eat a lot of 'sweet potatoes' (frustrating parts), but unlike other romance fantasies where you get frustrated due to the clueless protagonists, I liked that misunderstandings are quickly resolved or rarely occur!! Also, a heads-up, there are two characters you shouldn't 'stan' (become a fan of) here. Do NOT make Lilith's mom or the Emperor your ultimate bias. You'll regret it!! They are absolute trash 😡 See for yourself why they're trash 😉👍

It was a work I enjoyed a lot. I believe the novel is completed, and the webtoon is currently being serialized.. ^^ As you mentioned, the dads? are important.. While the male lead's screentime seems a bit lacking in comparison, I think it's unavoidable given that the story starts at a young age.

I saw that it's free-to-play, but I can't play because I don't have money ㅠㅠ Lilith and Cheshire are so cute, but their abilities are too much. Protect our Lilith's life!!

This is seriously the webtoon I'm most excited for these days ㅠㅜ The art is beautiful too (by Akakko's illustrator) and it's not just another generic one, so I find myself drawn to it.
