Great animation~ Great OST~ Great story~ Wanna cry your eyes out? Need healing? Looking for something touching? Watch this. I've rewatched it 4 times and I cry every single time. It's an anime about Violet, a girl who grew up as a tool of war and doesn't understand emotions, learning about others' feelings and the meaning of 'love' while working as an Auto Memory Doll (a letter writer). Seriously, every single episode's story is amazing. There's also a movie, and it's only 14 episodes so you can binge-watch it in a day! There's a lot that parents can relate to, so it's a great anime to watch with them! How about watching it with your parents during the Chuseok holiday?

I watched Violet Evergarden when it came out.. I don't remember if I saw the movie version too..
