Shubargo is a Bug/Steel type, so its defensive typing is excellent. It mainly shines in the Great League, so try raising it well, hmm!

Before the nerf to its previous counter move, it was sometimes seen in the Hyper League, but nowadays, with many better battle Pokémon appearing, it's rarely seen. Still, the meta changes a lot depending on move balance patches, so it might be good to keep one or two Pokémon with good battle IVs.

It's possible to set up a bug-type for raids, but bug types aren't generally that great for raid damage dealers. If its stats aren't good, I'd recommend not powering it up. It might be better to just use it until you get other raid Pokémon and then send it to the professor.

You should look at the entity, but I don't think it's used much.
