EXIT
The story begins when Yong-nam, a jobless youth who was once the ace of his university's mountaineering club but has been living under his parents' roof for years due to failed job searches, meets his junior, Ui-ju, at his mother's 70th birthday party. As the joyous celebration is in full swing, an unidentified toxic gas engulfs the entire city, instantly turning it into chaos. In this moment of crisis, the two utilize their college climbing skills and meager wit to escape the gas and begin a life-or-death escape from the buildings. This film removes the clichรฉ melodrama of existing disaster movies and delivers thrilling speed and excitement that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It's recommended as a clean and fun disaster movie that offers refreshing laughter and tension, like a 'chilsung-saida' (a popular Korean soda) amidst frustrating reality.

Even though Exit was a disaster movie, it had funny moments interspersed, which made it more enjoyable lol ๐ The scene where they escaped between buildings by climbing was really nail-biting! ๐

Jo Jung-suk seems to suit this kind of role the best. A role that's a bit lacking but upright and good-natured. I find this movie fun no matter how many times I watch it.
I've heard the movie is fun, but I haven't had a chance to watch it. I'll have to check it out if I get the opportunity.
