Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint Review... and Recommendation
Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint Naver Webtoon <311 Episodes, Season 1 Complete> The protagonist has a favorite novel, and for over 3000 chapters, he diligently followed it, even though he was practically the only one reading it. While reading the final chapter on the subway, he's taken aback by the novel's somewhat absurd ending. Just then, he receives a message from the novel's author about 'paid serialization' starting soon. The main scenario, the 'paid serialization,' begins in the world, and the story unfolds. As a review and recommendation, I suggest reading it in one go (binge-reading). I've actually dropped it a few times before when I tried to keep up with it weekly, but binge-reading revealed that some episodes felt a bit slow. Also, it's a bit predictable. While the specific plot points might not be predictable, the overall atmosphere? has some predictable elements. Yet, it's still fun. Even though the story is predictable and I've read similar things before, it was still a dopamine rush. There's a reason it's popular. People who like fantasy should check this out when they have free time, and even those who don't like fantasy might want to give this a try at least once.

I truly believe this work can be called a masterpiece of the fantasy genre. I read the novel all the way through, and the ending of the main story left a profound impression on me.

AuthorSince I'm running out of characters, I'll write it here: There might be people who haven't seen it, but there's no one who doesn't know it, it's that famous. If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend you do.

I also had so much fun watching it until the very last episode.... It almost got a bit boring in the middle, but by the time it concluded, I was thinking the author must be a genius.... The foreshadowing and world-building were perfect..

Even though it might seem predictable, the dopamine rush makes it perfect for binge-watching! I totally agree with the rave reviews saying it's worth watching even if you don't like fantasy. Hitting that like button a hundred times!

Honestly, I can't deny it's a novel geared towards a female audience, but as a guy, I found the writing and unique plot to be pretty good. Honestly, while reading it, I didn't feel it was BL even though it's female-oriented, so calling it BL feels like a stretch, even from a male perspective... Of course, I'm a middle schooler, so what feels like BL to me might differ from adult male readers, but honestly, it feels like a forced interpretation... It's not a male-oriented work, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're the type who only reads male-oriented fantasy! However, I do recommend it to male readers who don't mind whether it's male or female-oriented, as long as it's not BL fantasy! It's an enjoyable read! I'm enjoying it myself. Personally, I recommend reading the web novel first, then the webtoon! If you read the webtoon first, it can be hard to adjust... That's because the thrill of seeing the scenes you imagined from the web novel come to life in the webtoon is a thrill you only get by reading the web novel first! Anyway, I really highly recommend it!

When the webtoon reached around episode 200, I binged it in a few days. Then I found the physical volumes at the school library and read from the beginning all the way to the end of the main story... It was genuinely fun. It was also my first time reading such a long novel... If you enjoyed the webtoon, I highly recommend reading the novel too. The title itself, 'Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint,' is one of the narrative perspectives in a novel, right? The content and text structure are inherently well-suited for a novel, making it enjoyable to read. You'll get used to distinguishing the speech bubbles as you read. I'd love to binge-read it again if I get the chance later.

I first saw it as a webtoon and it was so much fun, but I've already finished it, so I'm reading the novel. The only novel I read on Naver is 'Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint'. I highly recommend it.
