A Game That Became a Mainstream Genre in Popular Roblox Games

It's Brainrot Heist. Also known as 'Broom', this game is based on the Italian Brainrot trend that was popular in 2025. Originally, Italian Brainrot was destined to disappear shortly after. However, Broom, by achieving tens of millions of concurrent players, became the very reason this meme, which should have died, has survived to this day. Broom is a game with simple rules: either find Brainrot yourself or steal it from someone else's base. However, the 'stealing' element is inherently risky, leading to various problems. The biggest issue is that after Broom, a flood of copycat games emerged on Roblox, and now most popular games are overwhelmingly similar to Broom. That doesn't mean playing Broom is bad; I've had fun with it myself. What I want to say is not to stop playing Broom, but to highlight the negative impact Broom has had on Roblox as a whole.
