[Review] The Overwhelmingly Addictive Roguelike, Hades!

Hades, a roguelike game that gained immense popularity and even saw its sequel achieve similar success, is currently on sale. This is the lowest price ever..!! I played it on Switch, then repurchased it on Steam after getting a Steam Deck... and I'm still playing it occasionally... It's definitely a well-made game. At first, your character is weak, so no matter how hard you try, you'll die... but the more you die, the more the story unfolds. Even your deaths have meaning, which is why many other games have adopted similar mechanics.. You clear stages by switching between different weapons and building your character with the attributes granted by the gods... I personally struggled a lot in the stage with the two charging bosses that throw spears... It was just so difficult.. I remember the Hades stage having multiple phases... I really struggled there too... After dying, I'd think, 'When will I have to go through that again?' and rage quit... While this genre is common now, back when it was released, it was a roguelike game with no real competitors... You can also save mid-stage, so you can play at your own pace.. Highly recommended!!
