Gravity (2013)
This is the 2013 film "Gravity," directed by Alfonso Cuarón and starring Sandra Bullock. This work won 7 awards at that year's Academy Awards, receiving the honor of being the most awarded film. Critics in Korea also gave it rave reviews, with critic Lee Dong-jin awarding it a perfect score of 10, and critic Park Pyeong-sik, known for his harsh ratings, also giving it a high score of 8. Some critics argue that the story is simple and predictable. However, along with the astonishing visual and auditory effects, the depiction of Dr. Ryan Stone's (Sandra Bullock) 'will to live' as she overcomes despair and rises again within a simple narrative leaves an overwhelming impression. As a side note, when the production costs increased, Warner Bros. executives made unreasonable demands such as adding a kissing scene or missile attacks like a blockbuster, which director Alfonso Cuarón flatly refused, leading to the creation of the film as it is today.
