The Worst Customers I Met While Working Part-Time
For reference, I worked at a dumpling shop that only did takeout. 1. Someone who took the dumplings, poked them one by one with their finger, and then demanded a refund saying it wasn't what they wanted. 2. Someone who said their dad also owned a dumpling shop but it went bankrupt, then asked me why I wasn't laughing and told me to laugh. 3. Someone who kept changing their order multiple times while customers were lining up behind them: ordering this, then that, then changing it back again, and repeating this process N times. 4. A person who demanded money. When I refused, they staged a protest in front of the store, so we had to call the police to make them leave. 5. Someone drunk who came in and asked for my age and if I had a boyfriend.

Wow, I thought they were crazy just reading the first one, but the more I read the second and third, the more outrageous it gets. If one store has this many difficult customers, I can't imagine how many crazy people there are in the world. Seriously, the more I read, the more I want to curse.

It's only natural to develop misanthropy from working in customer service. We live in a society, but there are so many situations involving people who aren't right in the head that are hard to understand... it's tough.
