What do you guys think about the Man City situation..

If rules were broken, it's only fair that there are severe consequences to match. Disciplinary actions lacking fairness will only breed more conflict, so I guess we'll have to trust the association's wise judgment. Hmm.

I think even the currently discussed trophy revocation and relegation to the second division should be implemented. Especially since Manchester City was a team that used to go back and forth between divisions, and aside from their owner coming in and spending money, they have no story. They should have just spent what they earned, but to falsify documents and deceive is a major violation of fair play.

I heard they inflated the sponsorship amount to inject more owner funds... It's not like a football club is just the owner's custom team in FM. If this is allowed to continue, more teams like PSG will emerge, and while casual fans might increase, fans who truly love and are passionate about football will have no choice but to leave.

I wonder if it's truly a sport when everything is solved with money to the point where you can't even stick to spending only what you earn. If they've already swept up star players, won trophies, and secured a much more advantageous position than other clubs through ad revenue and sponsorships, and they still can't adhere to that, I believe they should definitely be penalized.
