It reset..
I left the game running and went to sleep, but when I woke up it had reset... I was definitely level 43 before bed... What happened? I had even finished the level 40 hidden quest.

Play a bit, and when the option to link your account appears, try logging in with your original account. Many games reset like that sometimes, so if you have a linked account, it should work again.

Didn't you press the reincarnation button? I heard that if you do that, you restart from level 1, but your weapons and stats remain the same.
