[Review] If You Like Turn-Based Mercenary Management Games, This is a True Masterpiece.. Jagged Alliance 3 + Korean Patch

It's kinda funny to call it a masterpiece after only playing for about 3 hours.. but for those who love turn-based SRPGs, especially permadeath games where you build and manage mercenaries, it's an incredibly captivating masterpiece.. You can enjoy the Korean patch by getting it from the Steam Workshop and enabling the Korean mod in the game's mod options. When you first start, you'll contract mercenaries by tier, but it's most fun to just sign a rookie contract and start tough.. If your payroll runs out, mercenaries will leave and desert, so after progressing through the story, before combat encounters occur upon entering a map, you'll engage in unit control like in Commandos, and when combat starts, it immediately transitions to turn-based combat. It suddenly reminds me of Baldur's Gate 3.. It has a decent story, making the dialogue enjoyable to read. You can equip mercenaries with items suited to their class, level them up, and enhance their traits by increasing perks. Fans of XCOM-like games will absolutely love this game. However, the high barrier to entry means new players might quit saying 'It's too difficult..' Perfect controller support. A masterpiece game!
