[Review] Solo Leveling: ARISE Overdrive

Guilty as charged, I bought all the DLCs. This is basically the mobile game Solo Leveling: ARISE remade for Steam, and the best part is there's no gacha system, so you can play stress-free. However, not all hunters are included. The fact that they're selling some hunters, and especially our protagonist Jinwoo's most important shadow soldier, Beru, as a separate DLC called 'Jeju Island Raid' is quite infuriating. Despite that, the game itself is incredibly fun. The combat feels great when you're hunting mobs, making it a solid masterpiece. But, if you haven't read the original novel or webtoon, the story progression is too fast to fully grasp. If you buy the Deluxe Pack, you get a magnetic pet that automatically picks up dropped items from the start, allowing you to focus solely on clearing dungeons. If you're a true fan of Solo Leveling, you'll definitely enjoy it. While the Jeju Island Raid is out now, there's a possibility they'll release the ending through future DLCs... so if you're a true fan... go for it.
