Does everyone here speak Japanese well?? I've noticed that people who really love anime tend to know some. I want to get good at it too... If you have any tips, please share!

It's great to get interested through anime, but it's important to build a solid foundation from the basic grammar. How about starting with memorizing hiragana and katakana? Consistency is what builds skill, hmm!

I've watched so many anime that I can understand the meaning right away when I hear short phrases or words commonly used in anime, even if I can't use them myself ㅋㅋ I think it's good to get used to it by continuously watching and listening. I don't really have the energy to study separately though ㅎㅎㅎ

If I watch anime with subtitles off, I can understand about half of it.

When you learn Japanese with Duolingo, you'll start hearing things you recognize from anime at some point! And then you'll naturally be able to speak and read Japanese too :D
