Have you tried Chang Eok Tteok?
Pumpkin Injeolmi was all the rage, wasn't it? I stopped by the department store today and saw they had a pop-up, so I quickly bought some. For me, it was just... okay... tasted like something you could imagine. I thought I might have been upset if I had waited in line to buy it? APGUJEONG Gongju Tteok's black sesame Injeolmi was so delicious the first bite that I was like 'Whoa!' It was also the first time in my life I ate that much tteok in one sitting. But Chang Eok Tteok... hmm... I wondered if it was because it was frozen, but even if it was frozen, I couldn't shake the thought that it was just too ordinary???

If I had just eaten it without expectations, it would have been a decent rice cake, but I guess I expected too much ๐ Or maybe it's just a matter of taste. For me, I'm not a big fan of black sesame, so even if it was delicious, I'd probably prefer the pumpkin rice cake ๐ค

I was curious, so I looked it up, and it turns out it's a type of rice cake I've received as a gift and eaten a few times recently. I didn't think it was bad, but I don't think it's worth waiting in line for, so it's kind of on the fence.

OMG, I absolutely LOVE the pumpkin mochi from there! If you freeze it and then thaw it for about an hour, it's perfect as a snack.
