Dead Poets Society

Carpe Diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary. These are the famous words spoken by John Keating, the new literature teacher at the prestigious Welton Academy, as he showed the students old photos of former students in his first class. Mr. Keating taught the children, who were forced to conform to rigid rules and grades, to live in the present for themselves, not for the expectations of others, as humans who will one day face death. It is considered one of the greatest scenes in film history, resonating with the hearts of youths who only sought the right answers under pressure and teaching them how to become the masters of their own lives.
