Whitney Houston's Best Live Performance (One Moment in Time)
Whitney Houston, the singer I loved the most. I liked Mariah Carey too, but Whitney was always number one. I can pick two of her best live performances. One is the video of her singing the US national anthem at the Super Bowl, which I posted last time. This song is from the '88 Olympics commemorative album. Watching this video, I feel a sense of arrogance, or perhaps haughtiness. But if you watch the movie 'Whitney', you can see how immense her pride in her own songs is. And rightly so. There's a very slight crackle at the end of the video, but it doesn't feel like a problem at all, and the climax gives me chills. Can you feel Whitney's incredible form at her peak?

It feels like the song follows the singer, not the other way around. I'm a big fan of singers who perform comfortably and with a natural style, and Whitney Houston takes that and amplifies it with emotion. I'm wondering if leaving a review for her songs is even appropriate for my level. All I can say is, it's incredibly good. I love you so much, thank you!^-^ I really enjoyed listening.
