Attention Residue
I'm sharing this because it seems fun and informative. Today's Question Have you ever gotten sidetracked by KakaoTalk or news windows while working today, only to pause when you returned, trying to find where you left off? How many times did that pause happen? Small Practice Choose one most important task for today. Before starting, close all other windows, leaving only that one. Try working in that state for just 25 minutes, then evaluate how you felt when it was over. When you're doing something truly important today, close the rest of the windows and focus on just one. This applies even when you're with someone you cherish. It's not the person who has all windows open who is competent, but the one who knows how to focus on just one thing in crucial moments. The density of immersion is more important than opening multiple windows. I can relate to that hesitation when I get distracted while sorting gems, as it takes time to refocus. I'll try the practice of keeping only one today, hmm!
