Dog Days (2024)

The movie "Dog Days" tells the story of people living completely different lives who become intertwined through their dogs. Min-sang, a neat and meticulous single man, bickers daily with Jin-young, a veterinarian who is his building's tenant. Then, he meets the world-renowned architect Min-seo and approaches Jin-young and her pet dog, Manager Cha, for his project. Meanwhile, Min-seo suddenly collapses and loses her beloved dog, Wanda. Composer Seon-yong's family and delivery rider Jin-woo join the search for Wanda. With the stories of other dogs also unfolding, the characters' relationships naturally connect. At first, I thought it was a light movie with dogs, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well it depicted relationships, family, and love. The dogs were so cute that I couldn't stop smiling throughout the movie, and the way people, living their own lives, met each other and gradually changed felt heartwarming. I'd recommend it as a healing movie that you can comfortably watch and laugh along with.
