Heading to the Mountains Today

Summer's finally over, so I went to the mountain behind my house. It's a very common name, Maebongsan. It takes less than an hour to walk around even with a big loop. Actually, I ran away to the mountain because the weather wasn't great when I looked up at the sky. It's a small mountain, but the forest is dense, making it dark and spooky. Ladies should never go hiking alone. Since the Presidential Residence is at the foot of the mountain, guards are stationed all over, and security is tight. I tried to take a picture of the pond, but they told me not to film near the barbed wire, so I just didn't. 😚 There was almost no visibility and not much to photograph, so I moved on to Geumhosan. I found a great spot with observation decks on the rocky, treeless hillsides. I even discovered a fantastic place with views of Namsan Tower and Bukhansan. It's a shame because it would have been great if the weather was better today.
