Review and Recommendation for Sword Master Who Embraced the Stars

Sword Master Who Embraced the Stars Naver Webtoon <Currently 140 episodes> (Brief Summary) The protagonist, Vlad, comes from the back alleys. One day, Vlad is struck by black lightning and gains the ability to hear a voice that teaches him how to wield a sword. Through a certain event, the protagonist and the voice decide to give each other what they desire for their respective goals. One seeks 'the sword,' and the other seeks 'memories.' My impression while reading was 'calmly spectacular.' Whether it's because the overall story is cold or due to the unique art style of 'Byeolpumso,' I believe this description is accurate. The webtoon is set in a medieval background, and perhaps the combination of medieval times and swords makes the story feel cold. However, the spectacular directing that appears as you read brings out a certain medieval 'vibe.' I think the directing is the most significant feature of this webtoon. Whenever a certain part is emphasized, they add cool phrases, which you'll understand when you see it. It blends medieval and fantasy elements well, so if you like medieval fantasy centered around swords or calm medieval fantasy stories, I highly recommend this.
