CoopTD is a cooperative tower defense game where you defend the Demon King's castle with a friend. Basically, it's a game where two players team up to fend off waves of enemies. The core gameplay involves randomly summoning monsters and merging identical monsters to create stronger units. The gameplay loop consists of summoning monsters during battle, strategically placing them, and surviving the waves. How you combine and grow the randomly appearing monsters is crucial, and you can play more efficiently by dividing roles between the two players, with one focusing on offense and the other on defense. Besides the co-op mode, there are various other content like a solo mode for single players and boss rushes, so the gameplay isn't limited to just one style. There's also the fun of leveling up characters and collecting new monsters, which provides reasons to keep playing. Especially when playing with a friend, the enjoyment of strategizing together while discussing which monsters to summon is immense.
