This lowest price is for the base game only! The expansion, Sunbreak, is the same as the previous lowest price. There's also a demo, so I recommend trying the demo first before deciding to buy. I've played for about 100 hours... I recommend buying the expansion, Sunbreak, along with the base game! Even veteran players mostly recommend starting with Sunbreak! Monster Hunter Rise... I agonized over whether to start with World or this one when I was a beginner... Since it runs smoothly on the Steam Deck, I chose Rise! Wirebugs, etc... It's a game where you can see the effort put into lowering the entry barrier for true beginners everywhere. If a beginner like me has played for nearly 100 hours... well, I started with the Switch Axe and went around smashing things, then switched to the Bow, and I'm pretty satisfied...? I'll have to try other weapons later... but farming for materials is really tough. However, I absolutely do not recommend using the strong weapons and armor provided at the beginning. It'll make the game boring right away. The fun is in gathering materials one by one to upgrade your gear!
