Do As You Please

I want to live a clean life while I'm alive. I don't want my body's pain to hurt my heart too. This is a famous line delivered by Go Bok-soo (Yang Dong-geun), a former pickpocket who was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor, as he confronts his life and fate with quiet resolve. Despite his tragic situation facing death, Bok-soo doesn't succumb to despair or resentment. His words reveal his strong inner self, determined to live out his remaining days with dignity on his own terms. His confession—that he won't let his body's suffering break his spirit—resonates deeply, showing his commitment to being true to himself and his loved ones until the very end.
