[Review] Little Witch in the Woods

Challenges... I can beat them if I try, but laziness kicks in. This is an adventure role-playing game developed by SUNNY SIDE UP, a Korean developer. It features cute pixel art and is packed with elements that people who enjoy grinding will absolutely love. The story is about a witch apprentice named Ellie who is dispatched to the witch's house, where she undergoes her apprenticeship to make the village a better place with various magic and be recognized as a full-fledged witch. The game's objective is to explore the map, gather plants, collect byproducts from animals, and craft potions or candies to develop the village. You can also fish, but it's so grindy that it's not really necessary. There's a collection book (in-game encyclopedia) where you can fill it up by continuously gathering materials. It provides rewards that make game progression easier, so it's highly recommended to do it. With its cute pixel art, enjoyable grinding, and healing story, Little Witch in the Woods is a masterpiece for a Korean-made game. Highly recommended if it suits your taste.
