This song was released in 2015, but I heard it on the radio a few days ago. I fell in love with it the moment I heard it and looked it up. At first glance, the title might make you wonder, 'What's this about?' But it's about a young adult, starting their independent life, expressing gratitude and determination to their guardian. That's why she's no longer a girl, hence 'Vanished Girl'. The female vocalist is 'Lucite Tokki', who was probably a rising indie artist about 10 years ago. They don't seem to be very active these days. Yoon Jong Shin apparently got inspiration from a certain movie to create this song. If you're curious about the movie, check the YouTube comments. As a father raising a daughter, I was drawn to this song even more because I could picture the day my child grows up and reaches an age where these lyrics would be fitting.
