Corn Rice
I had corn rice for lunch today. I ate corn rice with seaweed soup and ham. When I told my friend the other day, "I ate corn rice today," they didn't know what corn rice was. Do you guys know what corn rice is? And has anyone tried it?! ++Corn rice is rice cooked with corn kernels mixed in with the rice.

I've never tried it ๐ญ It feels like something settlers would have made long ago when they were short on rice, adding corn to increase the volume. And it became a delicacy.

I've heard of it, rice with corn kernels. I've eaten rice with potatoes or sweet potatoes, but never corn rice.

Corn rice is delicious! ๐ Glutinous corn rice is chewy, and sweet corn surprisingly goes well with it too. Corn whets the appetite. It was often served in school lunches when I was young, but I don't know if it's still the same now.
