Gallium, the Metal That Melts in Your Hand
There's an element that defies the common knowledge that metals are hard and only melt at high temperatures. It's 'Gallium (Ga)', element number 31. Gallium's melting point is about 29.76℃, which is lower than human body temperature (around 36.5℃). That's why if you place a solid piece of gallium on your palm, it instantly melts into a liquid due to your body heat. Gallium, which has low toxicity and is used in thermometers and semiconductor materials, is a prime example of the fascinating material properties chemistry can show.

A metal that melts with body heat sounds fascinating. Cleaning it up might be a hassle, but seeing it change right before your eyes would be pretty interesting.
