Wonju Craft Beer Brewery 'Broyhaus'

Yesterday, Saturday, after having dinner with friends for the first time in a while, we went to 'Broyhaus' in Wonju for our second stop. It's Gangwon Province's first craft beer brewery. Broyhaus sells pure draft beer with zero additives, made only with malt, hops, yeast, and water. They have three types of beer: yellow, black, and brown. Since we were curious about all three flavors, we ordered 500cc of each. We tried the three flavors, and this is how I felt about them: Yellow Beer (Pilsner): Refreshing at first sip, with a lingering, savory grain aroma at the end. Black Beer (Dunkel): A heavy, dark bitterness followed by a subtle, deep chocolate flavor. Brown Beer (Weizen): A golden ratio blend of Pilsner and Dunkel, with a rich yet creamy taste. Thanks to the 630ml beer glasses, the thick cream foam captured the carbonation and aroma, keeping the flavor profile intact until the very last sip. For snacks, we ordered assorted sausages and pizza. The juicy sausages on the sizzling plate and the pizza paired perfectly with the beer.
