Today's Webtoon Recommendation! 'Pieces of a Broken Glass Slipper'

Genre: Romance Fantasy Publishing Platform: KakaoPage This webtoon is based on a novel that's so old, it could be considered the progenitor of the 'villainess' genre. Perhaps because it was created before the flood of mass-produced villainess stories, the plot is incredibly solid and not at all predictable. First off, it avoids the common cliché found in most villainess webtoons: 'Actually, the original heroine was the villainess, and the protagonist who transmigrated into the villainess is good.' The protagonist of this work, Cisley, harbors an unyielding hatred for her stepsister, Roena, and constantly wishes to kill her. However, she endures, playing the role of the ultimate villain to inflict a far worse fate upon her. The truth is, there's a reason Cisley became this way... you can find out in the webtoon! While not a direct Cinderella adaptation, the narrative shares similarities. The twist? Cinderella isn't the protagonist of this webtoon..! The art is stunning, and the story is exceptionally well-crafted, so I highly recommend giving it a read! 🥺
