Already tasted the bitterness of society
I cried 3 times while studying math for 40 minutes because of my self-esteem... So I only managed to solve 16 problems... One reason I cried was that my mom was angry almost all day today, but there's something else... Today at my grandma's house, my grandma asked me what university I wanted to go to. Honestly, I wanted to say art school, but for some reason, I just said I didn't really have one. Then my mom and grandma talked about something and told me to go to pharmacy school ㅠ^ㅠ I recently wrote 'illustrator' in the future career section at school, and I kind of regret it now... I almost cried again while writing this... 😔

Pharmacy school doesn't seem easy... isn't it 6 years? If you're just not sure, I'd recommend going to a vocational college.

I think it's better to prioritize what you want over what adults want. If you go somewhere you don't want to be, you'll just get stressed and won't be happy. Although you might end up liking it if it turns out to be a good fit, being forced to go doesn't seem right. Sorry if this was meddling.

If your career path is firm, I recommend seriously trying to persuade them. If you vaguely listen to your parents and go somewhere you don't want to, you'll end up giving up on everything in the end...

Honestly, if you force yourself through life doing what your parents tell you, it's hard to keep going for long. I think it's better and more sustainable to pursue something you're satisfied with yourself.

I would have just given up on everything 😅 For adults to tell you to go to pharmacy school is just their dream, not yours. Having a dream is a wonderful thing, not something to be ashamed of at all.
