Snack Bar Crew vs. Stationery Shop Crew!
Do you guys remember having snack bars and stationery shops in front of your elementary school? My school had both, and I remember friends splitting into groups: those who went to the snack bar and those who went to the stationery shop! I was definitely part of the snack bar crew, kekeke. We'd eat 1,000 won ramen or grab a small Yukgaejang cup noodle, pour water, and gulp it down in less than a minute before heading to cram school. I also often bought 500 won tteokbokki and chicken tenders. Thinking back, it felt great to have delicious snacks for such a small amount of money back then. I went so often that the snack bar lady actually recognized me. I recently thought about it and wondered if I should visit again, but sadly, it had been replaced by a noodle restaurant. I wonder if she would have recognized me if it were still there. What kind of memories do you guys have from in front of your elementary school? I'm curious if you remember buying snacks at a snack bar or browsing and buying things at a stationery shop.

The elementary school I first went to had both a snack bar and a stationery store.. but the school I transferred to didn't 😭😭 Now, in front of my middle school, there are only a bookstore and a convenience store lol

I always used to go to the snack bar with my friends after school! But then an ice cream discount store opened next to the snack bar in the summer, and we naturally stopped going to the snack bar lol

You're from the elementary school generation 😅😅😅 I'm from the 'Guk-hak-gyo' (old elementary school) era ㅎㅎㅎ Makes me sound like a total oldie 😅😅😅😅 There used to be an egg vending machine in front of the school. You'd put in 500 won, choose between soft-boiled or hard-boiled, and get an egg 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I like both! One day I'd go to the snack bar, another day to the stationery store, and then I'd stuff myself at the snack bar and head to the stationery store lol. Good memories.

My joy was buying 500 won worth of tteokbokki at a snack bar haha. It was delicious because it was continuously simmering on a large iron plate.. Nowadays, old-school snack bars are hard to find haha
