No Ads?
This is my first time seeing a merge game with no ads. Other games used to give at least a little energy for watching ads, but here you have to spend gems no matter what ㅠㅜ

There used to be ads... but I think I used gems without ads in the beginning, so I'm not sure haha. Ads do appear at my current level. But they're small and hard to see. If you look at the picture, you can watch ads by clicking 'Watch' next to 'Claim for Free' at the very bottom.

I'm not sure if you need to use gems for that to appear, or if it appears once you reach a certain level! For reference, I'm currently level 52, and I think it appeared before the level 50 hidden quest, so it might have popped up around level 40 or earlier. It's a bit unfortunate that I can't tell you for sure ㅎㅎ

I think ads only appear once you reach a certain level. Mine started showing up after I'd been playing for a while.
