Law Abiding Citizen (2009)

The "Law Abiding Citizen" starring Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx. It's a movie I really enjoyed! haha Clyde (Gerard Butler), whose wife and daughter were brutally murdered by intruders one day! The culprits are caught soon, but the prosecutor in charge, Nick (Jamie Foxx), releases them through a plea bargain... Enraged, Clyde begins to prepare a grand revenge against the culprits and the government that protected them! 10 years later, the murderer of Clyde's family is brutally killed, and Clyde is identified as the killer. Clyde readily admits guilt and goes to prison as if he had been waiting! But as soon as Clyde is imprisoned, the city falls into chaos with horrific murders and major bombings every day, just as he warned. Nick, flustered, uses all legal means, but he cannot stop his relentless revenge. It was a movie that left me with a somewhat bitter feeling after watching it ㅜ It made me ponder deeply about what justice really is ㅜ haha It's available on Netflix and Coupang Play!ㅎ
