How should I recommend a character for my new friend who just started and is AR 27?

I've saved up 60 pulls and don't know the current pity. I remember they only have the Traveler as a 5-star. I was thinking of having them pull for Miya since the Ice Queen seems like she'd support the Superconduct and Super-Breakdown teams, but then they'd have to use Miya, Valerie, Diona, Kaeya, or the Cryo Traveler. It feels like they lack Cryo application, so I was considering having them pull for Escaflowne first, but then I worry they might not be able to pull for Miya. Version 7.2 looks like a breather, so I thought about recommending again after seeing the 7.3 lineup, but I'm worried that if they can't pull and have a hard time playing the game because they're not good at it, they might quit, making the choice difficult.
