The method for unlocking and mining stone and mine resources follows the game's typical territory expansion and technology research tech tree. 1 Fog Clearing and Territory Expansion (Required) How to Unlock: At the start of the game, a significant portion of the main island is covered in fog. You need to collect gold coins and sequentially purchase surrounding land (areas) where resources are buried to expand. As you expand your land, you will discover mine entrances containing deposits of grayish rocks (stone nodes) or iron ore. 2 Quarry and Mine Building Construction: Once you discover a resource node, you must construct a quarry or mine facility on its location from the construction menu. Building the structure requires basic resources (like wood) gathered in previous stages and a certain amount of coins. 3 Technology Research (Tech) and Tool Upgrades: Core Requirement: Even if you discover a resource node, your workers cannot harvest resources unless the relevant tool technology is unlocked in the 'Research Lab' or 'Technology Management' menu within your territory. Prioritize researching pickaxe technology so your workers can mine stone and ore.
