Any tips for getting better at fishing?

I started on my phone, but since it's a tap-based system, it's a bit difficult. When I first started, I practiced fishing, but is there really no other way than just keep practicing? ++Any good tips for making money early on...

How to get good at mobile fishing Tap the screen intermittently. If you hold it down like on PC or mash the button, the green bar will fly off. Tap lightly 2-3 times per second to adjust the height. Buying a training rod from Willy's shop makes the green bar much wider, which is good for beginners. It becomes easier if you buy a Trout Soup (+1) from Willy or eat a seafood dish to raise your fishing level and then try. When your fishing level is low, the fish will thrash up and down making it hard to catch. Catch easy fish (like Sardines, Carp, etc.) consistently to raise your level to 2-3 or higher.

In the early game, fishing is the fastest way to earn gold per unit of time compared to farming. On rainy days, targeting high-value fish like catfish can yield a lot of money. For spring crops, focus on strawberries or potatoes. On Spring 13th, the Egg Festival is the best time to buy as many strawberry seeds as possible and plant them, as this will be your highest income source for the season. Until then, you can grow potatoes or kale to save up funds. Foraging: Consistently gather and sell spring greens and clams that respawn throughout the map. Mining: Mine copper and iron ore to craft sprinklers or refined goods. Descend deeper into the mines to sell gems and minerals found there to fund seed purchases. (I personally don't recommend this method.)
