While I was talking to the staff, the parrot kept coming over to get close to me! The staff member moved it away twice, but it slowly walked back over. When it got really close, it tilted its head, opened its eyes wide, and looked at me. It didn't squawk incessantly, and the staff member kept warning it not to do that. This parrot is really curious, not afraid of people, and so cute. I think it's a Black-headed Caique. ☆We advocate for rational communication and warm interaction here. I was sitting by the door waiting for breakfast in the morning. A customer came in with their dog and waited next to me. Maybe the dog could read my mind, because it secretly leaned against my leg and let me pet it for a few seconds.
