Today I want to share my pet rabbit's lying-down pose. Sometimes I mistake him for being dead 🤣. The white and brown one in the photo is a Lionhead rabbit, a male, named Amao. Because he has long fur, it often gets tangled into clumps during the summer, so I have to trim it for him. He's already over five years old. When he relaxes and lies down, I've been startled into thinking he's dead since he was little. Later, I found out that this is actually a sign of trust and relaxation for rabbits~ His breathing also slows down, letting me know he's sleeping. I'm totally smitten by his cuteness~~ The other little cutie is named Goljil, a female lop-eared rabbit with short fur. The name originated when I was sharing photos of our rabbits with my brother, and he mistyped 'rabbit' (토끼 - tokki) as 'stubborn' (고집 - gojip). I initially thought of calling her 'Gojip' because lop-eared rabbits can sometimes be easily startled and stomp their feet. Later, I changed it to 'Goljil' (골질), which sounds similar and is a bit gentler, hahaha! It's a bit quirky, but I quite like it~ I'll share more of their daily lives later~~ Or perhaps we can exchange rabbit-raising experiences and knowledge with fellow rabbit owners 👋
