Eligible Taipei citizens who are members must first register for the 'U-Sport Taipei Sports' App and complete citizen identity verification. Then, between October 1, 2026, and October 23, 2026, they must use 100 U-coins from their account to redeem cross-city sports vouchers worth 100 Yuan. These vouchers can be used at 9 national sports centers in Taipei City and 16 in New Taipei City, totaling 25 partner centers, with an expiration date of October 31. Additionally, by using the cross-city sports vouchers at the 16 national sports centers in New Taipei City, users can earn extra 'Le Ji Dian 5U' points. However, users should note that U-coins and cross-city sports vouchers are not used in the same way. U-coins cannot be directly deducted on-site at partner venues in New Taipei City; vouchers must first be redeemed through the U-Sport App and then presented according to venue regulations. In addition to the Taipei-New Taipei cross-city sports initiative, the Taipei City Department of Sports is continuing the promotional activities from September's 'Taipei Sports Month.' From October 1 to October 31, they are launching a limited-time mission called 'Move More, Be Healthier: Building a New Daily Routine of Regular Exercise' to encourage citizens to develop consistent exercise habits. U-Sport members residing in Taipei City who have completed citizen identity verification can earn U-coin rewards by accumulating exercise sessions at partner venues during the event period. The calculation method is as follows.

The coupon can be used to offset the fees for designated facilities at partner venues, including swimming pools, gyms, and other items. The usage period ends on October 31, 2026. It is recommended to arrange for usage as soon as possible after receiving the coupon to avoid exceeding the deadline. To receive the 100 NTD sports coupon, you must first complete the relevant settings in the 'My New Taipei' app and then check in at a partner venue in Taipei or New Taipei City. Here's how: 1. Download the App and Complete Real-Name Verification: Download the 'My New Taipei' app, activate the New Taipei Coin wallet, and complete the advanced member real-name verification. 2. Enable Mobile Location Function: Go to the app's homepage, tap 'E-Stay Check-in', and then select the event page '2026 New Taipei Coin x U-Sport Unlimited Sports, Taipei-New Taipei Cross-City Unlimited'. 3. Visit a Partner Venue to Check-in and Claim Your Coupon: Go to any of the 25 partner public sports centers in Taipei and New Taipei City, follow the app's instructions to complete the location check-in, and then return to the event page to claim your 100 NTD coupon. Please note that the advanced member real-name verification for the 'My New Taipei' app is manually reviewed and typically takes 3 to 5 business days. If you plan to participate in the event, it is advisable to download the app and submit your verification request in advance to avoid any impact on claiming your coupon due to pending review. In addition to the check-in event open to all citizens nationwide, residents of Taipei City can also redeem cross-city sports tickets through the 'U-Sport Taipei Happy Sports' app, using their existing sports points at partner venues in Taipei and New Taipei City.

Taipei and New Taipei City residents get an extra sports benefit in October! Taipei City and New Taipei City governments have joined forces to launch the 'Unlimited Sports, Unlimited Cross-City Access' initiative. From October 1 to October 31, 2026, 25 public sports centers across both cities will be linked, allowing citizens to use sports resources across cities without administrative district restrictions. Anyone in Taiwan can download the 'My New Taipei' app, complete the New Taipei Coin wallet setup and advanced member real-name verification, and then check in at a participating venue to receive a 100 NTD discount coupon for sports venues in Taipei and New Taipei. Taipei City residents who complete U-Sport membership verification can also use 100 U Coins to redeem cross-city sports passes, and get an additional 5 U points when spending at New Taipei City sports centers. Furthermore, Taipei City is launching the 'Move More, Live Healthier' mission in October, where accumulating 12 exercise sessions can earn up to 200 U Coins. New Taipei City and Taipei City are collaborating to offer cross-city sports discounts, aiming to integrate public sports facilities in both areas and allow citizens to flexibly choose sports venues based on their place of residence, work, or daily commute. This event runs from October 1 to October 31 and is open to all citizens nationwide, regardless of registered residency. By completing the specified app registration, real-name verification, and venue check-in tasks, you can receive a 100 NTD discount coupon for Taipei and New Taipei sports venues within the 'My New Taipei' app. Each person is limited to one coupon, and actual redemption is subject to activity regulations and coupon availability.

I don't really understand. I post or comment every day, but the gems I get aren't consistent and seem to be decreasing.

Saw this cat chilling at school this morning~ Didn't have the heart to wake him up, so I just took a sneaky pic! ❤️

I'm definitely not reading manga anymore 🌝

It's been getting chilly at night lately, and I'm running the AC indoors too. As someone who's physically weak, I'm freezing🥶 I should start thinking about nourishing my body.

Got a cute freebie today too!

The Taiwan Scimitar-babbler is an endemic species of Taiwan, also known as the 'Scimitar Bird,' primarily inhabiting mountain forests at altitudes of about 1,000 to 2,800 meters. It has a slate-gray head with a striking orange-yellow patch below the eyes, an olive-yellow back, and black and white patterns on the tail feathers. It often moves in small groups in dense thickets or forest edges, searching for insects and fruits on the ground and low branches. Despite its small size, its call is quite loud, especially easy to hear in the early morning. 🌿 Fun Fact When alarmed or preparing to fight, the Taiwan Scimitar-babbler raises the crest feathers on its head and turns its body from side to side. It may also flick its tail, revealing the bright yellow undertail coverts. It is a protected bird species in Taiwan, and if you encounter one in the mountains, it's best to observe quietly without chasing or disturbing it.
